What can I use AEIRCREME products for?
AEIRCREME products are formulated to provide quick and long-lasting soothing relief for itchy and irritated skin. They are moisturising, gentle yet effective, and do not contain any steroids or menthol.
Skin conditions you can use AEIRCREME for include: dermatitis, psoriasis, rashes, hives, blemishes, and insect bites.
It can also be used as a daily moisturiser to help maintain skin’s condition.
Can I use AEIRCREME Detox on skin with eczema?
Eczema-prone skin can become compromised due to dryness and scratching, resulting in cracked skin and/or open wounds.
AEIRCREME Detox contains magnesium, hence application on broken or thinned skin may cause a stinging sensation. It is recommended to test on a small area of skin first. If there is no stinging sensation, or a mild level of stinging that is bearable, you may continue to use it. Otherwise, please use AEIRCREME (original) instead for areas affected by eczema.
Can I use AEIRCREME products on my face?
Yes, you can. AEIRCREME products are formulated for both face and body.
How often should I use AEIRCREME?
Use as often as necessary, and whenever itch and/or irritation occurs. It is recommended to use at least twice a day, and whenever the area of skin is washed to seal in the moisture (e.g. after a shower, or washing hands).
What makes AEIRCREME different from other brands of cream?
Most creams work by sealing in moisture. For many people, these creams are insufficient to provide relief from itch and/or irritation. As many of them contain similar ingredients, if one did not work, then neither would another.
In addition to a high content of intensive moisturisers, AEIRCREME contains a unique combination of natural herbal extracts and micronutrient elements to provide long-lasting soothing relief quickly and effectively.
Are there any steroids?
No, AEIRCREME products do not contain any steroids.
What are counterirritants and why doesn’t AEIRCREME use them?
Counterirritants are agents that produce a superficial irritation/inflammation to distract from underlying pain or discomfort.
Examples of counterirritants include menthol, camphor, and capsaicin. These ingredients are commonly found in muscle pain products, topical cough remedies and some skincare products.
AEIRCREME products do not use these ingredients as they can cause eye and skin irritation. Menthol, commonly found in skincare products, is even more dehydrating to the skin than alcohol. Read more here.
Is it hypoallergenic/ suitable for sensitive skin?
AEIRCREME products use non-irritating and soothing ingredients. They are also fragrance free and 9-free*. If you are sensitive to a particular ingredient, please consult your dermatologist.
9-free*: Free from parabens, formaldehyde, alcohol, PEGs, sulfates, artificial fragrances, essential oils, dyes, counterirritants and menthol.
To ensure that the formula is suitable for you, please perform a simple patch test prior to using.
How to perform a patch test:
Start the patch test on an inconspicuous area, such as inside your elbow, behind your knee, or under your jaw.
Wait for 24 hours. If there is no reaction observed on the skin, the product is probably safe for you to use.
Can AEIRCREME cure atopic dermatitis/ eczema?
AEIRCREME is not a therapeutic product, nor does it contain any drug or steroid. Hence, it cannot cure any medical condition.
Consistent use of AEIRCREME can improve the skin’s condition, and soothe itch and irritation, to break the itch-scratch cycle.
Is it tested on animals?
No, AEIRCREME products are never tested on animals.
